Vanilla Butternut Pound Cake

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 small can of milk/with enough water to make 1 cup
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Vanilla Butternut flavoring

Cream Crisco, margarine, and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and milk; alternate beginning and ending with flour. Stir in flavoring. Bake in 10 inch tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 hours, but start with cold oven and do not open until time is up.
