Steak Subs

  • 1-2 lb flank steak, sliced very thin against the grain
  • 2 bell peppers sliced thin
  • 1/2 onion sliced thin
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • kosher salt
  • ground black pepper
  1. trim and slice flank steak against the grain, as thin as you can
  2. place steak as a flat layer (no overlapping) on a foil sheet
  3. add onions and peppers on top, then all seasonings
  4. add another layer of foil for a top, and grill over medium heat for about 10 minutes
  5. serve on toasted sub rolls with provolone and mayonnaise
