Peanut Butter Meltaway Cake

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cups peanut butter
  • 3/4 tsp cooking oil

Combine in a saucepan over low heat the first four ingredients until melted. Then add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour and baking soda. Beat until smooth. Pour into a 9×13 greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. COOL! Mix together peanut butter and cooking oil and spread over cake. Refrigerate 20 min.

Heat together until bubbly: 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup cocoa. Then add:

  • 1 pound box confectionery sugar
  • 6 tbs buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Mix and spread over cake. Keep refrigerated.
