Ingredients
Cookies
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- Pinch of salt
- 5 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup can milk
Icing
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup shortening
- 4 cups 10X sugar
- 2 Tbl. milk
- Food coloring
Instructions
Mix all cookie ingredients together. Put into refrigerator until firm. Roll into 2“ logs (will make about three logs). Cut into 1/2” slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Blend ingredients for icing together. After cookies cool completely icing.
