American Hot Pot Fondue

Preparation Time: PREP_TIME
Serving Size: 6
  • 8 cups beef broth plus 1 cup water when mixing
  • 2-1/2 cups bbq sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's)
  • 2 Tbsp horseradish
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1-1/2 to 2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce

FIXME add prep instructions

  • leave chicken/beef in at least 4 minutes as fondue is at simmering
  • we like filet mignon steak w/ all sides peppered (no salt)
  • we like mushrooms, broccoli, and new potatoes - boail potatoes 20 minutes before adding to fondue pot
  • we did 1/2 the chipotle mayo recipe FIXME and liked it with the chicken
