  * no lens uv protection filter!
  * Face priority off (or on with eye priority for single portraits, maybe off for family portraits so I can pick where it locks focus)
  * 2 (Vivid) Picture mode

  * gear -> A -> Caf lock normal

  * gear -> C -> Release lag time short for fast moving subjects; note it drains battery faster
  * gear -> D -> Control Settings -> P/A/S/M -> Live Control off, Live SCP on (this gives you the super control panel instead of the sidebar settings when pressing ok, and it works when you turn off Evf auto switch below)
  * gear -> D -> Live view boost on
  * gear -> D -> Beep icon off
  * gear -> D -> depth of field lock on

  * Note - phase detection AF pdaf is only enabled in continuous AF mode and should always be used for moving subjects
