===== Ingredients =====
  * 1 cup sugar
  * 3 cup flour
  * 1/2 cup shortening
  * 1 egg
  * 1/2 tsp. salt
  * 3 tsp. baking powder
  * 1/2 cup milk
  * 1/2 tsp. vanilla

===== Instructions =====
Cream sugar, shortening and then add 1 egg, vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and then add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Roll into small ball. May roll in sprinkles. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 min. Lightly press in center after comes out of oven.
